Okay, this might sound a little weird.

But I think I want to build a huge chemicals business.

Not AI. Not an app. Not some cool startup that gets posted on Twitter.

Chemicals.

I know. 😅

It’s probably the last thing most people my age would say if you asked them what they wanted to build.

But I've been thinking about this a lot lately.

There are so many businesses around us that we barely notice.

A factory somewhere outside the city. A guy with a warehouse.

A truck carrying some weird-looking liquid nobody has ever heard of.

A company supplying the same chemical to the same factory for 10 years. Nothing about it looks exciting.

But there's real money moving through all of it.

And honestly?

I find that way more interesting than I used to.

I think the internet has messed with our idea of what success is supposed to look like. We're shown founders on podcasts. Fancy offices. Cool products. Big launches.

But nobody shows you the boring stuff that quietly makes someone wealthy.

Sometimes it's just:

a factory + a product + 20 loyal customers + really good execution.

And I've started wondering...

What if I stopped trying to build something that looks impressive?

What if I just built something that actually works?

I started this business from the ground up.

No idea where it'll take me. Maybe I'll fail.

Maybe I'll find something completely different.

But I want to see how far I can take it. And now I'm curious about you.

If nobody could judge you for it, what would you secretly love to build?
